ISME is the int'l organization, serving multiple purposes through its highly complex structure that includes various COMMISSIONS and NATIONAL TEAMS, whose activities culminate in bi-annual World Conferences that gather thousands of representatives from various countries, creating the opportunity for exchange for music educators on great variety of subjects, including both aspects of theoretical methodology and practical hands-on issues about teaching music in various settings, age groups and genres of music. Presenters are selected (aprox. at the submissions ratio of at least 1:5) by Int'l Board of qualified educators from various countries. Commissions invite much smaller amount of participants for peer-review discussions and exchanges, resulting in presentations at the main Conferences. Conferences also provide great exposure to selected performing groups, in a form of concerts that are open to the public of the hosting City, contributing to the cultural exchange between all participating nations. Since joining the organization in 2008, Ms. Rozalina Gutman was invited to present at (click for links): the Commission for Education of Professional Musician (CEPROM), Spilamberto, Italy, July 2008; 28th World Conference of ISME, Bologna, Italy, August 2008; 29th World conference of ISME, Beijing, China, August 2010
